The course will introduce students to neurodiversity, the idea that neurological differences, whether arising from developmental (e.g., Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism) or mental causes (e.g., Schizophrenia, Biopolar, Major Depressive Disorder), should be accepted and valued as natural variations to human brain and behavior. Students will learn about underlying psychological theory and neuroscience mechanism, including neuroanatomy. [HHS, MNS, PPRE]
